Our account handlers are experienced industry professionals, with hands on production and colour management skills. Most have graduated from a production background and all have a sound working knowledge of both design software and of our production technology and systems.

Masterpiece operates a split shift system, operating 24/7. So you can be sure there’ll always be a friendly and knowledgeable voice on the other end of the phone when you need it. Working in our open plan environment all Masterpiece staff are encouraged to interact throughout the working day – this means everyone involved in your project is kept in touch and up to speed with production progress.

Complete catalogue production

The development of Catalyst, our online catalogue pre-press production system marks a significant step forward for catalogue pre-press production. Catalyst is covered in more detail elsewhere on our site but is in essence a transparent, online production environment which puts the publisher in control of their pre-press. Traditionally, the pre-press element of catalogue production meant that publishers were blind to any or all progress on their catalogue until the proofing stage. With the advent of Catalyst pages, spreads, stories and final pdfs can be viewed online with total ease. Everything the system displays is 100% live. All page assets are linked and accessible from within the system as are the current status and cost for every page.
